This year we spent our summer vacation in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. Regine's parents were here again, and so we rented a mini-van and started our tour to the North-East. The drive was awful: we were driving miles for miles through Nevada's desert with nothing else than desert and every once in a while a small town. The temperature outside - it was more than 35 degrees Celcius - made every stop a pain. Our first scenic stop was the Craters of the Moon National Park.Since the temperatures were still high, we stayed here just for a short while. And we all were happy being back in our air-conditionend car. After almost 18 hours driving we finally reached our destination. After all: it was worth the torture!! |
